Range: — Colombia to Bolivia (LP, SC).

Ecology: —Rare (known from three collections); terrestrial in moist grasslands and forests, often among rocks; 2200–3600 m.

Notes: —Hairs on the rachises rather few, relatively short, dark reddish brown (all other species have longer, denser, yellowish to orange hairs); pinnae sessile or subsessile, stalks <1 mm long, in the plane of the blade.
