Range: —Andes from Colombia to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Fairly common; scandent, terrestrial in humid forests, mostly in open habitats on ridges, forest edges, and roadsides; 1550–2500 m.
Notes: —Blades 4-pinnate, indeterminate, to 3 m long; ultimate segments orbicular or cuneate, broad, with 6 to 20 veins per lobe.
