Range: — Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia (BE, LP), and northern Brazil.
Ecology: —Rare (known from 2 collections); in montane forests; 950–1800 m.
Notes: —Fronds 1-pinnate-pinnatifid; rachises non-alate; pinnae linear to narrowly lanceolate, pinnatifid on the basiscopic side; blades subcoriaceous; venation copiously areolate, 3–5 series of areoles between the costa and pinna margins and 2 or 3 series of areoles between costules and segment margins; hairs present on costae adaxially; awns absent on costae adaxially.
