Range: — Peru, Bolivia ( CH, CO, LP, TA); Argentina and Brazil.
Ecology: —Common, terrestrial in evergreen forests, on stone walls along roadsides, and in semideciduous forests; (1450)2000–3100(3800) m.
Notes: —Similar and related to A. tinctum , and in the group of A. raddianum and allies ( Sundue et al. 2010, Hirai et al. 2016). Rhizomes long-creeping, scales short-denticulate at margins and apices long-filiform; color of stalks stopping at segment bases; veins ending in sinuses at pinnule margins; indusia round-reniform, glabrous.
