Range: — Peru and Bolivia ( CH, LP, SC).
Ecology: —Common, terrestrial in montane wet forests and semideciduous forests, on steep slopes; 800–1800 m.
Notes: —In the group of Adiantum raddianum ( Sundue et al. 2010, Hirai et al. 2016), and similar to that species, differing especially in having reddish rounded glands on pinnules abaxially. Rhizomes erect, scales with entire margins and reddish rounded glands; rachises glabrous; blades 4-or 5-pinnate proximally, 2–4-pinnate distally; pinnules entire or incised on distal margins to 1/2 of pinnule length, rhombic-cuneate, with stalks 1 mm long; veins ending in sinuses at pinnule margins; indusia round-reniform, with reddish rounded glands.

Range: — Guyana, Ecuador to Bolivia (LP, PA); Brazil.
Ecology: —Rare (4 collections known), terrestrial in lowland evergreen wet forests; 100–600 m.
Notes: —In the group of Adiantum tetraphyllum . Rhizomes stout, short-creeping, nodose; rachises copiously scaly, scales with pectinate bases, ciliate margins, and filiform apices; blades 2-pinnate, with 4 or 5 pairs of lateral pinnae; pinnules ca. 2 times longer than wide, (20–)35–45 pairs per pinna, reduced toward pinna bases and apices, on both surfaces with scales on veins, margins of sterile pinnules serrate; sori contiguous; indusia oblong, bearing filiform scales.
