Range: —Antilles; southern Mexico to Bolivia (BE, CO, LP, SC, TA), northwestern Argentina, and Brazil.
Ecology: —Common; pendent epiphyte in wet forests; 200–2800 m.
Notes: —Sori in (2–)3–4(–8) parallel, deeply grooved lines on both sides of the costae, without reticulation. Occasional large specimens can have up to ca. 8 parallel lines of sori in a single blade, e.g., Fuentes et al. 14247 (UC).
