Type species. Harnischia fuscimana, Kieffer, 1921 View in CoL , by subsequent designation and monotypy.

Emended diagnosis. Frontal tubercle present or absent. Gonostylus variable shaped (short and broad or long and narrow), anal point broad to narrow and parallel shaped to variously developed.
