The species was described in Japan from the Hilgendorf’s tube-nosed bat Murina hilgendorfi , then collected in the Far East and the Krasnoyarsk region with the Ussuri tubenosed bat Murina ussuriensis ( Stanyukovich, 1997) , as well as in Novosibirsk Region and Altai with Hilgendorf’s tube-nosed bat (own data).
