Type locality and specimens. Cape Agulhas , South Africa, 35°4' S 18°37'E. Holotype, female, 5 mm (reported as 2/ 5 inch). GoogleMaps

Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Stebbing (1888).

Diagnosis (female). Minute accessory flagellum. Antennae flagellum with many articulations. Gnathopod 1 basis with heavily setose anterior and posterior margins; carpus proximal margin dentate. Gnathopod 2 carpus distally truncate; propodus mediofacial setal row displaced to midline. Pereopod 5 basis narrowly expanded. Uropod 3 penduncle elongate. Telson apex with strong point.

Male (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.

Habitat. Green sand; 274 m (reported as 150 fthm).

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Atlantic Ocean: Cape Agulhas, South Africa ( Stebbing 1888; Stebbing 1906; Stebbing 1910a).
