Type locality and specimens. Mauritius, Madagascar. Holotype, male, 4.0 mm; unmeasured paratypes.

Material examined. No material available for examination. Diagnosis based on description by Ledoyer (1978).

Diagnosis. Truncate anterior head margin; anterodistal corner excavate. Minute accessory flagellum. Gnathopod 2 carpus distally tapered; propodus palm with six major tubercles. Pereopods 5–7 bases sub-triangular in shape.

Female (sexually dimorphic characters). Unknown.

Habitat. Coral reefs; 15 m.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. Indian Ocean: Mauritius ( Ledoyer 1978b), Madagascar ( Ledoyer 1986).
