General distribution. Europe: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, FYR Macedonia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece (incl. Crete), Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine. West Asia: Turkey. North Africa: Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia ( Zapparoli 2002; Minelli et al. 2006; Akkari et al. 2008).

Chorotype. S-European (SEU).

Records in Peloponnisos ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ). Ahaia: W-Erimanthos, Kalentzi, 1200 m (1). Arkadia: Oros Menalon (near Vitina), 1200 m (1); l km E Vitina, crossroads to Vitina, 1025 m (1). Korinthia: Oros Killini, Oros Ziria, 1900 m (1). Messinia: Kalamata, between Artemissia and Langada Pass (1).
