Remarks. ♀: Body length 9–11 mm. Flagellum with 33–37 flagellomeres, slightly lanceolate; 1 st flagellomere 3.6 × longer than wide, widest flagellomeres 1.4 × wider than long. OED 1.7 × and OOD 0.7 × ocellar diameter. Mesopleuron superficially punctate and sometimes with weak striation in ventral half. Apophysis long.

♂: Body length 11–14 mm. Flagellum with 36–37 flagellomeres, bristle-shaped, 1 st flagellomere 3.3 × longer than wide, all flagellomeres longer than wide. Tyloids on flagellomeres 9–13/14, long-oval, maximally 0.8 × as long as their flagellomeres. OED 1.8 × and OOD 0.7 × ocellar diameter. Mesopleuron punctate, not striate. Apophysis short. Colour reddish. Flagellum reddish basally, mainly black, in ♂ flagellomeres 12–17 with ivory stripes. Hind tarsus blackish.

Distribution. Known from Sulawesi, new records for Borneo, Java and Sumatra.
