Remarks. ♀. Flagellum with 36–37 flagellomeres. Colour: head black, frontal orbit with large ivory spot. Flagellum with ivory rings on flagellomeres 8–12. Mesosoma black; scutellum, metapleuron and propodeum red; collar with yellow band. Legs red, fore coxa yellowish; hind tibia apically and hind tarsus black. 1 st to 3 rd tergites red, following tergites black, 6 th and 7 th tergites with large apical ivory spots. The ♀ from Sabah has a yellow scutellum, black metapleuron, brown petiole and reddish propodeum with brownish sides.

♂: Flagellum with 36 flagellomeres, bristle-shaped; 1 st flagellomere 2.7 × longer than wide. Tyloids absent. Mesopleuron except speculum entirely striate. Colour reddish. Flagellum black, basal flagellomeres ± red. Frons medially, stemmaticum, vertex, pronotum medially and dorsally, mesoscutum entirely and mesopleuron in dorsal 2/3 black. Hind tarsus black.

Distribution. Known from Java and Sulawesi, new record for Borneo and Sumatra.
