Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Kuwait (Walker & Pittway 1987; Al-Houty 1989, 2011), Oman ( Osten 2005a; Monks et al. 2019), Qatar (Walker & Pittway 1987), Saudi Arabia ( Shalaby 1961 as Campsomeris thoracica eriophora ( Klug 1832) ; Walker & Pittaway 1987; Gadallah 2004; El-Hawagry et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates ( Gillett & Howarth 2004; Gillett & Gillett 2005; Schulten 2007; Howarth & Gillett 2008; Schmid-Egger 2017), Yemen ( Schmid-Egger 2017).
Extralimital distribution: Northern Africa ( Senegal to Democratic Republic of the Congo to Sudan and Morocco to Egypt), southern Europe ( Spain to Romania to Turkey), Syria and Iran to Pakistan ( Betrem & Bradley 1972; Osten & Özbek 1999; Osten 2000, 2002; Özbek & Anlaş 2007; Samin et al. 2014).
