Published data ( Kallies, Mollet & Young 2018).
Material examined ( Table 13). South Australia. Paratypes: 1 ♁, Kangaroo Island, Seal Bay Conservation Park, 35°59′27.0″S, 137°19′57.0″E, 27 m, 13.III.2009, D. A. Young, S. & B. Mollet leg. ( BMC); GoogleMaps 1 ♁ (1529) ( Figs 186, 190 View FIGURES 183–191 ), 3 ♁, same data but 24/ 31.III.2009, D. A. Young leg. ( BMC) GoogleMaps .
Discussion and differential diagnosis. Pollanisus hyacinthus , P. isolatus , P. cyanota and P. calliceros can be distinguished by the differences in their head ratios ( Table 17 View TABLE 17 ).
Phenology and bionomics. Nothing is known about the larval host plant. Males are active in day time ( Kallies, Mollet & Young 2018). The only known habitats are in coastal heath of southern Kangaroo Island ( Fig. 191 View FIGURES 183–191 ).
