Material studied. URUGUAY: Melilla , ex roots of Gamochaeta coarctata (Asteraceae) , 34°43’55.3’’S 56°18’40.4’’W, 13.iii.2019, coll. Martínez, V., 2 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 184 GoogleMaps .

Hosts. Reported on roots of an undetermined plant ( Granara de Willink, 2009).

Distribution. Neotropical region ( García Morales et al. 2016). This is the first record of D. bonaerensis in Uruguay.
