Pacheco da Silva, V.C., 6 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 8; same locality and host, 18.iv.2018, coll. Calvo, M. V., 3 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 126 GoogleMaps ; Salto, ex leaves of Citrus × limonia ( Rutaceae ), 31°22’40.3”S 57°45’02.6”W, 2.iv.2018, coll. Pechi, E., 3 adult ♀♀, ECFA No. 98 GoogleMaps .

Hosts. Polyphagous, reported from 84 species belonging to 42 plant families ( García Morales et al. 2016).

Distribution. Australasian, Afrotropical, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions ( García Morales et al. 2016). This is the first record of Ps. cryptus in Uruguay.
