Redescription of hypopygium ( Figs 4 View FIGURES 1–5 , 13–19 View FIGURES 13–19 ). Genital capsule brown to dark brown, apices of surstyli paler ( Figs 4 View FIGURES 1–5 , 13 View FIGURES 13–19 ). Ventral lobe of surstylus ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 13–19 ) forked, with pointed projection bearing one strong, curved seta at apex and one straight seta at base of projection. Dorsal lobe of surstylus ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 13–19 ) elongate, cup-shaped; apex with microtrichia. Apicoventral epandrial lobe ( Fig. 16 View FIGURES 13–19 ) very similar to N. lopesi sp. nov., four-branched, with one branch unsclerotized, delicate, arborescent-like with several tiny hairs. Basolateral epandrial lobe ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13–19 ) simple, digitiform. Hypandrium ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 13–19 ) with distal part simple, without projections. Postgonite ( Fig. 18 View FIGURES 13–19 ) with pointed apex and few microtrichia. Cercus ( Fig. 19 View FIGURES 13–19 ) with dark, sclerotized, lateral part; medial part delicate, with digitiform projection, bifurcated at apex bearing one modified seta anteriad.

Remarks. The overall description of N. orbicularis by Naglis (2003) is very accurate and we found no substantial differences from our specimens, as such, we have only provided a more detailed description and illustration of the male hypopygium.

Distribution. Paraguay and Brazil (State of Mato Grosso do Sul, Pantanal biome, and State of São Paulo, Atlantic Forest biome).
