LITERATURE RECORDS. — France, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Alpes-Maritimes: Sospel, Albarea Caves ( Zoia 1986).
DISTRIBUTION. — Endemic to the caves surrounding Sospel.
CHOROTYPE. — Alpine (Alpes-Maritimes endemic).
REMARKS
This cave-dwelling species, distributed in the Ligurian and Maritimes Alps, is split into five subspecies that are in need of taxonomic revision.
