Power’s Clawed Frog

Material. HILLWOOD FARM: BMNH 2018.5654– 58; NKWAJI: BMNH 2018.5659 ( Fig. 6G View Fig ). Comments: Specimens collected from a pond in miombo area. The BLAST search shows 99% sequence similarity with X. poweri from Ikelenge, north-western Zambia (GenBank accession number KP 345253). Furman et al. (2015) removed this name from the synonymy of X. petersii and reassigned the West African populations of X. laevis to this species.
