Subfamily Caluromyinae View in CoL

Only a single species of caluromyine, the woolly opossum ( Caluromys lanatus View in CoL ), is known from the Yavarí-Ucayali interfluve, but a second species (the black-shouldered opossum, Caluromysiops irrupta ) could reasonably be expected to occur in our region (appendix 2).
