TYPE LOCALITY AND TYPE REPOSITORY. Mogara vill., Rajasthan, India ; NZSI.

COMMENTS. Regrettably, I have not been able to see this species. The original description is inadequate, and the status and taxonomic position of O. krishnai thus cannot be evaluated without examination of the holotype. The presence of the trichobothrium d 2 on the femur of pedipalp in Fig. 361 of Tikader & Bastawade (1983: 132) seems to indicate that this species belongs in Paraorthochirus rather than Orthochirus .
