Represented by one specimen (31388), on canopy litter (pH 6.7). The specimen reported herein apparently represents a new record for New Zealand. This appears to be an uncommon species worldwide (Martin & Alexpoulos 1969), although the small size of both the individual sporocarps and the fruitings in which it occurs may cause it to be easily overlooked.
