Studied Material. Loc. 27. 52 ex., 8.XI.1987 (holotype and paratypes).
Species known only from the type locality, the Mairuelegorreta cave in Araba ( Beruete et al. 1994, Jordana et al. 1997, Beruete et al. 2002), although its presence in other cavities of the Gorbea massif, both in Araba and in Bizkaia, it is quite probable. It has been found on decomposing remains of wood.
