Camptopteroides Viggiani, 1974c: 3 View in CoL . Type species: Camptopteroides armata Viggiani, 1974 View in CoL , by original designation.

Camptopteroides View in CoL (Alalinda Huber) in Huber & Lin, 1999: 33. Type species Camptopteroides (Alalinda) dorothea Huber, 1999 , by original designation.

Paranagroidea Noyes & Valentine, 1989: 44 . Type species: Paranagroidea verrucosa Noyes & Valentine, 1989 , by original designation. Synonymy by Huber & Lin, 1999: 31.

Diagnosis. Body length 740–950 μm. Funicle 7-segmented, with fu 2 ring-like ( Fig. 220 View FIGURES 220, 221 ); vertex sharply margined at occiput ( Figs 215 View FIGURE 215 , 219 View FIGURES 216–219 , 227 View FIGURES 226–231 ); head in posterior view ( Figs 207 View FIGURES 204–209 , 227 View FIGURES 226–231 ) with median vertical coronal sulcus extending ventrally to occipital sulcus just above foramen, the occipital sulcus extending laterally about half way towards outer eye orbit; ocular apodeme thick and blunt ( Fig. 219b View FIGURES 216–219 ); mandible with 2 equal-sized teeth ( Figs 230, 231 View FIGURES 226–231 ); fore wing with wide brownish median band separated by clear spot from narrow brownish apical band ( Fig. 221 View FIGURES 220, 221 ); parastigma with long macrochaetae ( Fig. 215 View FIGURE 215 ); propodeum distinctly sculptured, with more or less isodiametric reticulations.

Discussion. Camptopteroides belongs to the Camptoptera group of genera together with Camptoptera , Eofoersteria , Macrocamptoptera , Ptilomymar and Stephanocampta . Camptopteroides is most similar to Macrocamptoptera , the body of both genera being considerably larger, and the fore wing relatively wider and more distinctly patterned than in the remaining three genera.
