Diagnosis: This species is similar to some members of Chlorochromodes in the bead-like margin, and the antemedial and postmedial lines being composed of small dots bordered with red. However, the male genitalia are quite different, as shown in the diagnosis of the genus. The lamella antevaginalis of the female genitalia is leaf-like.
Material examined: China: 37♂ 10♀, southern China, April to September ( IZCAS) ; India: northern India, 8♂ 3♀, May, August to September ( BMNH) .
Distribution: China (Hubei, Guangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan, Tibet), India, Nepal, Pakistan.
Remarks: In the specimens from Tibet, the females are distinctly larger than the males, but in the material from Mount Emei, Sichuan, both sexes are of a similar size (only one female examined), and the males are larger than those from Tibet.
