Ibidionini Thomson, 1861: 135 . Type genus: Ibidion Audinet-Serville, 1834 , junior homonym of Ibidion Gory, 1833 ( Coleoptera , Cerambycidae View in CoL , Clytini View in CoL ). Type-species: Ibidion amoenum Gory, 1833 View in CoL (by monotypy). Ibidionini Thomson, 1861 is permanently invalid because it is based on a preoccupied type genus (Article 39).
Neoibidionini nomen novum. Type genus: Neoibidion View in CoL , nomen novum pro Ibidion Audinet-Serville, 1834 , non Ibidion Gory, 1833 ( Cerambycidae View in CoL , Clytini View in CoL ). Type-species: Ibidion comatum Audinet-Serville, 1834 View in CoL (by subsequent designation Thomson, 1864: 215).
