Anogdus dissimilis is newly recorded in Labrador, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and Atlantic Canada ( Fig. 3 View Fig ). Little is known about the fungal associations of this genus ( Zeran et al. 2007). All the specimens collected in this region were found in sand dunes and other coastal habitats.
