Agathidium pulchrum is newly recorded in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and in Atlantic Canada as a whole ( Fig. 7 View Fig ). It has been collected in many different coniferous and deciduous forests, from moss duff, and in riparian areas between May and September. Host records include the slime molds Arcyria nutans (Bull.) Grev., Comatrichia sp., Stemonitis flavogenita E. Jahn , Trichia decipiens (Meyl.) Y. Yamam , and Tubifera ferruginosa (Batsch) J.F. Gmelin , and the fungi Lenzites betulina (Fr.) Fr. , Tramates versicolor (Fr.) Pil. , and Stereum sp. ( Miller and Wheeler 2005).
