Description. Adult ( Fig. 70 View FIGURES 68 – 75 ) wingspan 15.0̄16.0 mm. Head white, frons mixed with yellowish fuscous. Labial palpus dark gray, white on inner surface, third segment white on distal 1/3. Antenna with scape white, tinged with yellow, pecten blackish fuscous; flagellum blackish fuscous, dotted with white on each flagellomere dorsally. Fore- and midlegs mostly blackish gray, tibia with two white oblique streaks on outer surface, each tarsomere white on outer surface basally; hindleg mostly gray, blackish gray on distal part of tibia and on distal part of each tarsomere. Thorax white; tegula fuscous. Forewing ratio 5.0; bronze fuscous, with dense black scales in distal 1/5, with metallic reflections; costa interspersed with dense white and black dots, with two white spots near distal 1/5 and near apex, latter smaller; dark bronze fuscous streak below basal 2/5 of fold, black along lower margin, with a black spot near its distal end; dorsal band white, extending to end of fold, scattered with transverse black striae on distal half; dorsal fascia from before middle of wing reaching distal 1/3 of costa, blackish gray above fold, black below fold; cell with two or three black dots at middle, arranged longitudinally; black spot at lower angle of cell and at tornus; termen white, with a few black dots; cilia black on costa and around apex, white adjacent to white spots, gray on termen and near tornus. Hindwing and cilia uniformly gray. Abdomen dark silvery gray dorsally, gray ventrally.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 135 View FIGURES 132 – 137 , 191 View FIGURES 190 – 193 , 247 View FIGURES 245 – 252 ): Tuba analis slightly shorter than width of valva. Socius covered with 20̄28 scale-like setae, bearing two short setae posteriorly ( Fig. 247 View FIGURES 245 – 252 ). Gnathos not inflated distally, without long thick setae apically. Valva subovate, widest at middle, ventral margin slightly convex, with a row of long setae from base near ventral margin to apex of dorsal margin. Saccus shorter than width of valva, triangular or nearly so, blunt apically. Phallus about 4.5 times as long as width of valva, nearly straight ( Fig. 191 View FIGURES 190 – 193 ). Second sternite with about 10 micro-setae in each row; eighth sternite Y-shaped. Coremata present.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 293 View FIGURES 293 – 295 ): Ovipositor 2.5 times as long as eighth segment. Anterior apophysis 3/5 length of posterior apophysis, bifurcate at distal 2/5, with branches fused, forming ventral margin of ostium bursae. Lamella postvaginalis narrowly triangular or slightly rectangular. Antrum funnel-shaped, 1/3 to 2/5 length of eighth segment. Ductus bursae spinulate near and before opening of ductus seminalis; ductus seminalis originating from middle of ductus bursae. Corpus bursae oval, slightly concave at or before middle, with dense micro-spines around signum, densely denticulated elsewhere; signum with basal plate band-shaped, stout horns extending outward horizontally, anterior margin straight or slightly concave medially.

Distribution. China (Ningxia, Qinghai, Shanxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan).

Diagnosis. The diagnosis is given under A. (A.) aurilata , sp. nov. and A. (A.) convexa , sp. nov.

Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin cupreus, meaning bronze, referring to the forewing color.
