Genus Miniopterus Bonaparte, 1837

As mentioned by Happold (2013 ap: 711), representatives of the genus Miniopterus show a remarkable degree of morphological uniformity, which makes it difficult to identify the various forms. In continental Africa, she recognizes six species, of which we believe four occur in the CRB region. However, we cannot exclude that some of the specimens were erroneously identified.
