Distribution in Iran. Fars, Kordestan, Kuhgiloyeh & Boyerahmad, Sistan & Baluchestan ( Borumand 1998; Modarres Awal 2012, both as Amorphocephalus coronatus ; Legalov et al. 2010).

General distribution. Albania, Algeria, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Iran, Is-

rael, Italy, Lebanon, Macedonia, Morocco, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Syria, Turkey.

Comments. Amorphocephala coronata is a myrmecophilous species ( Schedl 1970).
