Distribution in Iran. Kerman ( Barkhordari et al. 1981; Modarres Awal 1997, 2012; Borumand 1998, all as Apion (Onychapion) tamarisci ; Legalov et al. 2010).

General distribution. Afghanistan, Algeria, Azerbaijan, Egypt, France, Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Oriental Region.

Plant associations in Iran. Tamarix sp. ( Tamaricaceae ) ( Borumand 1998; Modarres Awal 2012).
