Distribution in Iran. East Azarbaijan, Razavi Khorasan, Semnan, Tehran ( Legalov et al. 2010), Razavi Khorasan ( Zare Khormizi et al. 2016), West Azarbaijan ( Borumand 1998; Modarres Awal 2012, both as Apion (Thymapion) subfarinosum Desbrochers des Loges, 1897 ).
General distribution. Afghanistan, “Caucasus”, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
Plant associations in Iran. Fraxinus excelsior L. ( Oleaceae ) ( Zare Khormizi et al. 2016), surely an occasional.
