Specimen examined: 1 male, Australia, Queensland, 28.03°S 153.07°E, ‘ Glen Witheren’ , general, 26–29.xii.2001, MV GoogleMaps light 10352, G.B. Monteith ( QM) .

Redescription. Following are additions to the original description provided by Malipatil (2014):

Body ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–4 ) length including wings 6.30; maximum width 2.30.

Head ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–4 ) length 1.25; width across eyes 1.71; interocular space 1.14; interocellar space 0.60; eye-ocellar space 0.30; eye length 0.38; eye width 0.30. Length of labial segments: I 1.21; II 1.33; III 1.25; IV 1.29. Length of labrum 0.30. Length of antennal segments ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–4 ): I 0.49; II 1.71; III 1.25; IV 1.44.

Thorax: Pronotum ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–4 ) median length 1.25; width at anterior margin 1.25; width at posterior margin 2.28. Scutellum length 1.14; width 1.35. Length of hemelytra 3.80; length of corium 2.85; claval commissure 0.41.

Abdomen: ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–4 ) Details of spiracles, punctures, and scent gland scars as in genus description.

Male genitalia: Pygophore produced apically to a conical process directed slightly postero-ventrally, entire exposed surface finely punctate. Paramere ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 10–14 ) with blade broad in middle and gradually narrowed and truncate apically, basal part with inner margin not produced but with several erect setae. Aedeagus details similar to in N. minuta sp. nov. provided below.
