Remarks. Within the verai -group, O. ruizporteroae resembles O. ebo n. sp. and O. murcia n. sp. by the position of trichobothrium ist and in having long pedipalps. O. ruizporteroae is closest to O. ebo n. sp. by the reduced number (6–8) of rounded vestigial teeth in the basal half of the movable chelal finger, but it differs from the latter by the presence of cheliceral lyrifissure ldb. The above description incorporates in part that of Carabajal et al. (2001b). The species name is emended from ruiz-porteroi to ruizporteroae , since it is dedicated to a woman, Carmen Ruiz-Portero, and hyphens are not allowed in patronyms.
