Neopronematus lundqvisti Sadeghi, Łaniecka and Kaźmierski, 2012

Pronematinae gen. nov., sp. n. VII, Ripka & Kaźmierski 1998a: 421 (in part).

Neopronematus lundqvisti was described from Razavi Khorasan Province in Iran, collected from leaves of maple (Sadeghi et al. 2012). This is the first record in Hungarian fauna.

Material examined. 1 tritonymph (slide 599a =AK H-175) from Acer negundo L. ( Aceraceae ), HUNGARY: Budapest XXI, Csepel, 18 August 1993, coll. G. Ripka; 1 female (slide 599b =AK H-176) from the same host, locality and date.

1 female (slide 282 =AK H-157) from Aesculus hippocastanum L. ( Hippocastanaceae ), HUNGARY: Budapest XII, Németvölgy, 0 9 September 1992, coll. G. Ripka.

Relation to host. Acer negundo . Eriophyidae : Shevtchenkella brevisetosa (Hodgkiss) ; Phytoseiidae : Kampimodromus aberrans (Oudemans) ; Tydeidae : Tydeus californicus (Banks) [lower side of leaves].

Aesculus hippocastanum Eriophyidae : Aculus hippocastani (Fockeu) , Shevtchenkella carinata (Nalepa) ; Phytoseiidae : Euseius finlandicus (Oudemans) , Kampimodromus aberrans (Oudemans) ; Stigmaeidae : Zetzellia mali (Ewing) [underside of leaves].
