Specimens examined: R81-25, -26

The karyotype of the species comprises one pair of large, 9 pairs of medium and small telocentrics, and the largest telocentric X ( Fig. 24a View FIGURE 24 ). There are 10 autosomal bivalents and the sole X at first metaphase ( Fig. 24b View FIGURE 24 ). The X moves to one pole with autosomal halves ( Fig. 23c View FIGURE 23 ).
