America)

Takagi et al. (1980) reported besides common ssavonoids luteolin 57 and hispidulin 83 the unusual ssavonoid-alkaloid phyllospadin 95 from Phyllospadix iwatensis collected off the coast of Japan. Takagi et al. (1979) described ssavonoids 56, 57, 65, 66, 83, 84, 85, 91, and 92 from Phyllospadix japonicus (named Phyllospadix japonica in this paper) collected off the coast of Japan.
