Hylemyia pallida Macquart, 1835: 319 View in CoL . Syntype (s) ♀ (♀), “du nord de la France ” ( France, Lille area), not in MNHN or MHNL, and presumed destroyed.

MATERIAL. — Described from an unspecified number of ♀♀. No syntypes have been located.

CURRENT IDENTITY. — This name has been synonymized with Leucophora cinerea Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 , by Bezzi & Stein (1907: 699, as albiseta (Roser, 1840)), Hennig (1967a: 116) and Dely-Draskovits (1993: 69), and there is no reason to dispute this synonymy.
