WYOMING: [Albany County] Centennial, 24 July 1966, A. C. Scoggan; Crook County, 12 June 1985, T. Christiansen; Fremont County , Squaw Creek drainage, 18 July 1984, R. Lavigne, collected on leafy spurge blossoms. New state records. This subspecies of Hippodamia moesta LeConte is recorded from California, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana and Colorado ( Gordon 1985). Thus, the records from Wyoming are not surprising, and they bridge a gap in the known geographic distribution of H. moesta bowditchi .
