Adult ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 5 – 10 ). Wingspan 20.0 mm. Head white. Labial palpus yellow with brown on outer surface, yellowish white with pale brown on inner surface; second segment about 1.5 times length of diameter of eye, thicker than third; third segment slender. Apophyses anteriores furcate in basal half, about as same length as apophyses posteriores; apophyses posteriores slightly dilated apically. Corpus bursae approximately rectangular, ductus seminalis arising from posterior margin of corpus bursae; signum absent.

Male unknown.

Diagnosis. This species is close to A. phoxopterella superficially, but distinguishable by the larger size of the adult, the forewing with the distal patch ochreous yellow, the apophyses posteriores dilated apically, and the antrum funnel-shaped in the female genitalia. In A. phoxopterella , the size of the adult is relatively small, the distal patch of the forewing is yellow, the apophyses posteriores are not dilated apically, and the antrum is approximately rectangular in the female genitalia.

Distribution. China (Hainan).
