Material. BRAZIL: 3 ♂ si (partially molted) from Bahia, rio Cachoeira, entre Itabuna e Ilhéus (aprox. S 14° 48' / W 39° 11'), SM Pereira, 22.vii.1978, 671 ( CZNC).GoogleMaps 

Distribution ( Fig. 178View FIGURES 178). Argentina and Uruguay (orig.). New record: Brazil (Bahia). Discussion. We are here expanding the range of C. vulturorum  2,000 km to the northeast from the most northern location previously known, Misiones province in northwest Argentina.
