Distribution in Iran. Fars, Khuzestan (Linnavuori 2011).
General distribution. Turkey, Near East, Central Asia.
Comment. On Heliotropium sp. ( Boraginaceae ), Potentilla sp. ( Rosaceae ), and Salvia rubifolia (Lamiaceae) (Linnavuori 2011). The nominal form is an European taxon known in the Maghreb and north east of the Black Sea.
