Parish records (n = 3): East Baton Rouge and Franklin Parishes (LSAM).
Potential larval hosts in Louisiana: Betula nigra , Carya glabra , Carya illinoinensis , Carya laciniosa , Carya ovata , Cercis canadensis , and Quercus alba . Adults reported also on Fagus sp. , Gleditsia triacanthos , Quercus virginiana , and Quercus velutina .
Collection date range: 15 May–17 July.
Comments: Collected using canopy Malaise traps, also as C. fumipennis prey.
