Etymology – ThespecificepithethonorsProf. Dr. AliGök, Isparta, aspecialiston Chrysomelidae , whohascarriedoutimportantentomologicalresearchesinTurkey.

Description – HabitusasinFigure 1 View Figs 1–6 . Body 4.5–4.7 mmlong. Coloration: headreddish brown, pronotumandelytrareddish, withtheposteriorareaslightlylighter; abdomen blackishbrownwiththenarrowposteriormarginsofthetergitesandtheapexsomewhat paler, legsandantennaereddish.

Headtransverse, 1.22 timesaswideaslong ( Figs 1–2 View Figs 1–6 ); dorsalsurfaceconvex, with verydense, averagesize, granulosebutrathershallowpunctures; intersticesreducedto narrowridges; pubescenceshortandreddishyellow. Eyesrelativelysmall, indorsalview distinctlyshorterthanpostocularregion. Antennaemoderatelyslender, 1.1 mmlong, an- tennomereIIIapproximately 2.2 timesaslongaswide; antennomeresV–Xoblong ( Fig. 1 View Figs 1–6 ).

Pronotumtransverse, approximately 1.20 timesaswideaslong ( Figs 1–2 View Figs 1–6 ); slightly widerthanhead; widestatanteriorangles, narrowedposteriorly; anteriorandposterior angleseachwithalongsetaeoflittlemorethanhalfthelengthofthelateralmarginofthe pronotum; posteriormarginconvex; dorsalsurfacewithpronouncedimpressions; microsculpturebarelynoticeable; punctationsimilartothatofhead, butdenser, notgranulose, surfacesomewhatmoreshinythanthatofhead; pubescenceofsimilarlengthasthatof head, butlessfineandmoreconspicuous.

Elytradistinctlytransverseandshort ( Figs 1–2 View Figs 1–6 ), about 1.70 timesaswideaslong andapproximately 0.70 timesaslongaspronotum; microsculptureabsent; punctation denseanddistinctlygranulose, intersticesonaverageapproximatelyaswideasdiameter ofpunctures; pubescencereddishyellow, moredistinctthanthatofheadandpronotum; posteriormarginofeachelytronwith 5–6 longblacksetae. Hindwingstotallyreduced.

Abdomenapproximatelyaswideascombinedwidthofelytra ( Fig. 1 View Figs 1–6 ), widestatsegmentV, segmentsIII–VItransverse, tergitesIII–Vslightlymorethantwiceaswideaslong; punctationverydenseandveryfine; intersticeswithdistinctfinemicrosculpture; pubescencebrown; posteriormarginoftergiteVIIwithpalisadefringe.

m – sterniteVIIinposteriormedianareaslightlydepressedandwithsomemodified darkandshortsetae, posteriormarginweaklyconcave ( Fig. 3 View Figs 1–6 ); sterniteVIIIdeeplyand acutelyincisedposteriorly, pubescenceunmodified ( Fig. 4 View Figs 1–6 ); aedeagusapproximately 0.65 mmlongandasinFigures 5–6 View Figs 1–6 .

Comparativenotes – Thespeciesisdistinguishedfromallitsconsubgeners by the male sexual characters, especially by the ventral process of the aedeagus, whichisofdifferentshape, particularlyinlateralview. Inaddition, thenewspeciesdiffersfromallspeciesinthewesternAnatoliabyadifferent coloration (seekeytotheTurkish Eurysunius speciesbelow).

Distributionandbionomics – Thenewspecieswascollectedfromthe Alacadağ, insouthwestofAntalyaprovince, ingrasslandataltitudesof 1620 and 1810 m. They were found in the nests of Tetramorium sp. , which supports pastobservationssuggestingthatthissubgenusisassociatedwiththeseants.
