Ecology. Hanging down from the overhanging limestone cliff wall at about Bostrychia -level; spring high water level.

Indian Ocean distribution. India, Indonesia, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritius ( Børgesen, 1945: 41), Mozambique, Oman, Pakistan, Rodrigues (this paper), Seychelles, Singapore, Somalia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania.
