Ecology. Frequent in the whole intertidal zone, but most abundant just under low water mark.

Indian Ocean distribution. Bahrain, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mauritius (Dickie, 1974: 194; Jagtap, 1993: table 1), Pakistan, Rodrigues (this paper), Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, Tanzania, Yemen.

Ecology. Epiphytic on larger seaweeds at about low water mark.
