Redescription (Fig. 19). Male. Body length 2.5mm. Arista sparsely plumose with hairs on basal half slightly more densely arranged. Setae brown. Ocellar seta slightly shorter than postvertical. Two dorsocentral setae. Acrostichal seta absent. Two pairs of lateral scutellar setae. Head yellow with antenna (excluding arista) paler excluding brown spot at base of arista, ocellar tubercle brown with spot extending onto dorsomedial margin of back of head, face, occiput and parafacial light yellow, and gena white and silvery-tomentose. Notum dark brown with postpronotum, anterior margin of scutum and thin line down center of scutum (not attaining posterior margin) yellow. Pleuron and legs yellow. Halter brownish (possibly an artifact of preservation). Wing lightly clouded on distal ¼, but only with brown pigment evident around R2+3. M1+2 ratio 4.4. Abdomen brown with cercus whitish yellow.

Male terminalia. ( Sasakawa 2011: figs 20–22) Surstylus large and broadly rounded apically, subequal in height to epandrium, and with tubercle-like setae along inner surface of apical margin and distal 2/3 of posterior margin. Cerci small, rounded and with short setae. Hypandrium with two large medial setae and three smaller distal setae. Pregonite small, bare and subrectangular. Postgonite, basiphallus and epiphallus well-developed. Distiphallus nearly 2/3 length of phallapodeme; paraphallus large and well-developed with surface minutely spinulose distally and with strong pointed thumb.
