L. E. Koch (1985) suggested that Rhysida immarginata was applicable to some or even most of the nonAustralian specimens assigned to R. nuda . Most subspecies of R. nuda have subsequently been transferred to R. immarginata , and we formally transfer two others:
R. nuda somala Manfredi, 1933 (Type series: Somalia: Balli (Basso Uebi), Gelib) = R. immarginata somala Manfredi, 1933
R. nuda subnuda Jangi, 1955 (Type series: India: Nagpur , Telankheri) = R. immarginata subnuda Jangi, 1955
